Environment description: Very steep mountains, heavily vegetated Near Hei Wan River, with other Rubus sp.
Comment: Exploration for Rubus Germplasm in Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. A China-USA Collaborative Project with the Nanjing Botanical Garden, Guizhou Botanical Garden and the USDA-ARS-National Clonal Germplasm Repository-Corvallis. Plants upright, very vigorous, to more than 2.5 m with very few primocanes. Fruit orange,medium-small, good taste, drupelets adhere to receptacle. Fruit mature now. Common plant many plants seen during trip.
