Mexico
Locality: Collected about 15 miles northeast of site of DJUG 217, 75km north of Zinaxpan.
Environment description: Much wetter climate although elevation is similiar to that of DJUG 217. The trees there were earlier, most nuts on ground.
Comment: Collected by Dan Parfitt, L. J. Grauke, J. Payne, B. Wood, and Jose Luis Cervantes.

Narrative
The tree that original nuts were collected from was a medium tree, single trunk, 30 feet tall, 39cm in diameter, 40 years old. Nuts approximately 1 inch in diameter, mature. Harvest September 9. Evaluation by A. Almehdi, 10-6-87. About (16) deep ridges; light shell color; 3.8cm nut length; 3.3cm nut width; uniform round; light kernel color; 0.3cm shell thickness.
