Narrative
Received as S. holocarpa 'Rosea'. Between April 2018 and June 2022, the remaining living plant of NA 59710 (59710-H) died back to the roots; the flowers of the resprouts are almost pure cream-white in color, and the shoots are presumed to be from seedling rootstock. The plant is attractive and should be retained; its flowers are significantly larger than wild-collected NA 60684-H, and it is flowering profusely on the young suckers, while 'Innocence' (NA 76533-H, which should have a blush of pink) seems shy to flower--it entirely failed to bloom in 2025 despite being a larger, mature plant.
