Environment description: Partially wooded roadside. Growing in 50 percent shade. Soil consists of some mineral substrate and organic matter over rocks. Slope: 30 degrees. Aspect: Southwest.

Comment: Upright, multistemmed tree. Height 10m; Spread 6 m; DBH 22 cm. Bark gray with some furrowing and flaking. Leaves typical for the species, some scorch due to summer heat and drought. Fruit in pendulous clusters; green bracts turning brown. Frequent and uniform throughout the area; seeds collected from one plant.
