Narrative
Donation from Russ Jessup as breeding lines developed from the Texas A&M AgriLife Hemp Conversion Project. Donor supporting information (see attached PDF in Other tab): [“This document is provided with submission of the following seven ‘Hemp Conversion Program’ (HCP) seed accession to the USDA-ARS NPGS hemp (C. sativa) collection. The germplasm is derived from the USDA-ARS NIFA grant award (Number: 2022-38624-38369)—Compliant Hemp Accelerated Improvement Network (CHAIN)—produced in my program as open-sourced, public germplasm. All F2 populations were tested and confirmed for compliance prior to seed increase. An illustration of the project’s work flow, as well as our hemp research license, are attached. Additional submissions are planned through 2025.”]
