Mix of H. ovalis and H. virginiana in this area - some are distinctly ovalis or virginiana but others are intermediate and harder to characterize. Lots of plants in flower in this area; many with yellow flowers at various stages; a few plants with red flowers that are open and other plants still in bud but showing some red flower. A "complex." Same general areas as HOT23-113-115 [field collection numbers from a previous collection].
