Environment description: Upland mesic tallgrass prairie remnant.
Number of plants sampled: 25
Associated species: Echinacea pallida, Andropogon geradii, Schizachyrium scoparium, Bouteloua curtipendula, Asclepias tuberosa, and Liatris aspera
Comment: Localized population. Noted approximately 55 specimens. Area sampled estimated at circa 0.5 acres. At time of sampling (2023), many plants did not produce seed and those that did produce had evidence of insect/rodent damage.
