Environment description: River's edge near a transition between the silty riverbank and sand of a large sand bar.
Number of plants sampled: 1
Associated species: Chenopodium album was common nearby higher on Duck Island and the western riverbank especially on natural levies growing on heavy silt soil. No Chenopodium plants were observed on the lower and very wide sandy areas where Amaranthus tamariscinus was. Conyza canadensis was in the immediate vicinity.
