Environment description: River's edge on rough ground by a mowed area.
Number of plants sampled: 8
Associated species: Below Populus deltoides trees, with weedy Chenopodium album, Helianthus annuus, and Conium maculuatum. More Chenopodium plants were observed on hummocks in the sandy area closer to the river which was unfortunately posted against trespassing and unavailable for collecting.

The foliage had a foul fishy smell. Collected early in the season so only the early seeds were mature.
