Associated species: Eupatorium perfoliatum, Symphyotrichum laeve (peak flower), Symphyotricum novae-angilae, Solidago rigida, Solidago missouriensis, Solidago altissima, Typha latifolia, Cornus drummondii, Salix exigua, Salix discolor, Salix eriocephala, Salix nigra, Salix amygdaloides, Rosa sp., Prunus americana, Acer negundo, Gentiana andrewsii, and Monarda fistulosa.
