Full name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Cornus kousa 'Gold Cup'. Plant found growing in the Dogwood Collection with a nursery tag; had not been submitted for accessioning. Not absolutely certain when it was received or if it came with other plants, but likely acquired in or around 2019, based on the last check note for the tree that it replaced in the collection, 51550-H (C. kousa 'Gold Star').
