Collected
1930.
Liaoning Sheng, China
Elevation: 1219m.
Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Rocky, mountain slopes. Elevation: 3000-5000 feet.
Comment: Wild-origin field collection data as per that of the parent (seed lot) accession, PI 90671, Dorsett & Morse 6513. [Seeds apparently collected in China under Japanese occupation by staff of the South Manchuria Railway (Yugakujo Agricultural Experiment Station, forestry division) from rocky, mountain slopes in the area; seeds were subsequently given to the collectors on November 17, 1930 in what was called "Hsiungyaocheng, Yugakujo". The Yugakujo referenced might be modern Yingkou prefecture-level city, but the precise location isn't clear.]
