Locality: Tom Dorman State Nature Preserve: trees growing adjacent to west side of loop trail going down towards Kentucky River.

Environment description: Calcareous, rocky woods, mid-slope down towards river.
Number of plants sampled: 1
Associated species: Aesculus glabra; Ulmus americana; Fraxinus quadrangulata; Lonicera maackii ; Staphylea trifolia; Ageratina altissima; Sedum ternatum; Micranthes virginiensis; Polymnia canadensis.
Comment: Approximately a dozen trees present, all mature size (over 6 inches DBH), tall and thin. About half of trees with fruit present. Only one tree accessible by climbing neighboring blue ash; Kyle Youngs climbed and retrieved seed. Other trees were out of reach and not safe to climb.
