Environment description: Open dry, woods. Localized at highest elevations of preserve.
Number of plants sampled: 50
Associated species: Viburnum rufidulum, Rhus aromatica, Cercis canadensis, Crataegus pruinosa, Phlox subulata, Penstemon breviculus, Penstemon hirsutus, Symphyotrichum undulatum, Antennaria plantaginifolia, Euphorbia corollata, Rosa carolina, Carya glabra, Lespedeza intermedia, Solidago nemoralis, Physalis virginiana, Solidago erecta, Helianthus divaricatus, Liatris squarrulosa, Amelanchier arborea (abundant, but very small trees), Robinia pseudoacacia, and Juniperus virginiana.
Comment: Two areas sampled separated by approximately 750 yards. Both areas representing highest elevations of preserve. One area only consisting of a few genets and the other area representing approximately 45 genets. Coordinates provided refer to largest grouping of specimens. Distribution of plants found was captured with GPS and data may be provided upon request.

Plants measuring 12-18" in height. Spreading vegetatively via rhizomes. Majority of specimens with mostly white flowers. Peak flowering at collection site occurred near 26th of May (2023).
