Environment description: Upland, remnant sand prairie.
Number of plants sampled: 12
Associated species: Schizachyrium scoparium, Ambrosia psilostachya, Lithospermum caroliniense, Solidago speciosa, Salix humilis, Sporobolus heterolepis, Fragaria virginiana, Rosa sp., Packera plattensis, and Artemesia ludoviciana.
Soil Texture: Sandy Loam
Comment: Noted approximately 25 specimens throughout preserve. Sampled across a 3.5 acre area. Timing of harvest is estimated to be about 10-12 days past peak as a good portion of seeds had already dropped/shed.
