Full name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Buxus harlandii. From Nurseries Caroliniana web site: according to Michael Dirr, this may be a clone of Buxus microphylla var. sinica; distinctive narrow leaves with an identifying notch at their tips. Characteristic vase-shaped growth habit, narrower at the base and broadening towards the top. [Plants grown from rooted cuttings.]
