Environment description: Steep shaded slope beneath vertical small rock outcrop. Growing in humus, leaf mould.

Comment: Small evergreen twiggy shrub. Height 1 m, DBH 2.5 cm. Bark smooth, gray. Leaves alternate, linear-lanceolate, to 10 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, bearing single maroon fruit at midrib. Fruit: drupe mature, maroon, borne on leaf midrib.
