Full name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Gymnocladus dioicus 'Little Joe'. Eight bare-root, dormant plants were dug from the location of the orginal ortet (multiple cloned individuals) were sent; they arrived on 4/11/2018. See NA 83679 for an earlier accession that failed to establish. The cultivar epithet 'Little Joe' was registered in May 2016 by Joe McNally of Iowa Arboretum. Further details of the cultivar's origin are found in the registration data. Form received: sucker.
