Full name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Tsuga (T. chinensis x T. sieboldii). Seedling number 4 from 1994 cross between T. chinensis NA 12347 (female parent, code no. 5, died approx. 2007) and T. sieboldii PI-235516 / B46458 (male parent, code no. 7). This accession is under evaluation for future release as of 2017.
