Narrative
Full name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Buxus 'Ed Wyckoff'. The USNA molecular study placed this in a cluster with NA 33827-H ('Ed Wyckoff') far apart from any other B. sempervirens, near a group of tetraploid B. sinica var. insularis ("'Nana' group"). This may be a hybrid involving one of this class. This accession was also found to be triploid using flow cytometry, as was 'Ed Wyckoff'. On physical review, it was determined that this accession actually is 'Ed Wyckoff'; it will then be removed after propagation of the better-documented accession of that name. -SBL]
