Locality: About 25 to 30 plants were sampled at two sites along the Indian Hollow Trail in the Organ Mountains, Dona Ana County, New Mexico by the collector, Richard Pratt on October 28, 2017. At the exposed sites (two) along the trail, prior to reaching the intermittent stream, one site had only two plants, the other site had about three plants. These were tucked in near small boulders adjacent to the trail. A few samples were obtained from plants adjacent to the trail on an open slope, around rocks, a little before the 0.7 mile marker on Indian Hollow Trail (dot, indicated below) elev. 5490’ The majority of samples were obtained from plants growing in association with shrubs near an intermittent stream area just past the 0.7 mile trail mark--indicated by blue arrow elev. 5483’
