Associated species: Aesculus glabra, Celtis occidentalis, Gleditisa triacanthos, Gymnocladus dioicus (associated with sample #211-2), Juglans nigra, Maclura pomifera, Rhus glabra, Ribes missouriense, Rosa multiflora, Staphylea trifolia (associated with samples #211-4 and #211-12), Symphoricarpos orbiculatus and Ulmus americana.
Comment: A widely scattered population with localized patches of high abundance. Trees were slightly past peak ripeness at the time of collection and were shattering readily. Greatest distance between two specimens sampled was 2.90 miles. Collection assisted by Joshua Peters. Coordinates provided refers to mother tree #211-1.
