Description of plants sampled in nature: Vase-shaped shrubs branching low; height to 2 m with a basal diameter to 2 cm; bark grayish-brown and exfoliating; oblong to ovate leaves blue-green to yellowish; capsules 5-angled/ribbed, borne typically 3 to 7 but up to 15 in terminal dischasia, yellowish-green.
