Environment description: Region 3; County:Cochise; Locality:South Fork of Cave Creek ca. 1 km. SSW of junction of FS42 and FS 42E: Collection: Associated species Quercus arizonica, Q. hypoleucoides, Platinus wrightii, Pinus arizonica, Hesperocyparis arizonica, Robinia neomexicana.: Description: 8½m single-trunk tree at edge of flowing stream, next to FR 42E (South Fork Rd.). Bark medium-gray, vertically furrowed near base (DBH only around 10cm). Leaves yellowing.
