Number of plants sampled: 12
Associated species: Salix planifolia (rare, peak fruiting), Salix pyrifolia (rare), Salix serissima (rare, peak flower), Salix bebbiana (abundant), Salix petiolaris (abundant), Caltha palustris (peak flower), Viburnum opulus var. americanum, Onoclea sensibilis, Alnus incana subsp. rugosa, Spiraea alba, Ribes americanum (peak flower), Fraxinus nigra, Sambucus racemosa (rare, peak flower), Cornus sericea, and Carex spp.
Comment: Scattered population with occassional to infrequent abundance. Sampled 12 specimens with approximately 0.20 miles separating each specimen sampled. Greatest distance between two specimens samples was 1.96 miles. Timing of collection was essentially perfect as a majority of capsules were just starting to fluff out with a hint of yellow. Timing coincided with peak flowering of local Amelanchier sanguinea. Coordinates provided refer to central portion of where specimens were sampled and location of where specimen No. 1 was sampled.
