Associated species: Baptisia bracteata, Eryngium yuccifolium (extremely abundant), Sporobolus heterolepis, Sorghastrum nutans, Schizachyrium scoparium, Cornus racemosa, Sisyrinchium campestre, Heuchera richarsonii, Corylus americana, Amorpha canescens, Viola pedatifida, Rubus sp., Rosa sp., Prunus americana, and Echinacea pallida.

Comment: Noted approximately 35-45 genets with some in peak flower and some just past bud break during reconnaissance (21 April 2022). Population localized (0.20 acre), restricted to one hillside (higher elevation) and mostly on northeast facing slopes.
