Environment description: Grassy pasture with scattered trees, calcareous in nature and the species reflect that well. Site used heavily for cattle production and the remaining vegetation is dominated by warm season grasses and forbs

Associated species: Juniperus virginiana, Celtis laevigata, Zanthoxylum clava-herculis, Juglans nigra, Aesculus pavia, Quercus falcata, Quercus muehlenbergii, Quercus shumardii, Aesculus glabra
Comment: Coordinates represent the general area. The Carya leaves of these particular trees had nice gold or silver scales on the underside. Fall color was also a consistent bright gold color.
