Narrative
Accession 9094398 is a diverse population of plants with varied size originating from parents with origins in North Dakota. South Dakota, and Minnesota. Seed is mature in late September at Bismarck, ND. Area of adaptation is expected to be North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and surrounding states in climactic conditions where prairie dropseed is naturally found.

Description:
Native seed collections from Burleigh County ND, Mahnomen County, MN and Day County SD were propagated, planted to an assembly. allowed to cross pollinate, and seed was harvested. Large seed was selected and plants propagated from large seed. Plants were then assembled to new crossing block. Seed harvested from this block was given the designated accession 9094398. Lot SBR-I 5-I 8COMP is a composite of 9094398 seed harvested from years 20 I 5-2018.
