Loss-of-function mutations for FUL-A2 and FUL-B2 were selected from an ethyl methane sulphonate (EMS)
mutagenized Kronos population and were crossed twice with a Kronos line carrying loss-of-function mutations in
both VRN2 homeologs (Distelfeld et al. 2009). Mutations in ful-A2 and ful-B2 were combined by crossing using
marker assisted selection, and a ful-A2 ful-B2 homozygous mutant was selected in a Kronos vrn2-null background.
