Narrative
The Rubus ursinus flowers and fruits several weeks earlier than that of the introduced European blackberry at that location. R. armeniacus fruits were green at the time of the harvest of the black ripe Rubus ursinus fruits. Fruits were collected from about 5 plants at the forest edge. The plants were growing under Crataegus middle story and Oak and Maple top story.

the first author to unite

R. vitifolius
