Environment description: Plants scattered on very steep rocky SW facing slope, very rocky soil, granite and igneous rocks. 50% of individuals flowering and fruiting, 50% at least partially dead. Population size of about 30.
Number of plants sampled: 14
Associated species: Thorn scrub of acacia, Dasylirion, Opuntia, Erythrina, Fouquieria, Agave, and Lamiaceae shrub

Comment: Collected with the Field Botany Biol 189T Class, Calfornia State University, Fresno, with support of the USDA Agricultural Research Service, in cooperation with California State University, Fresno
