Comment: Tree; height 25 ft; DBH 10.1 cm & 13.5 cm; bark gray, exfoliating in approximately 4 cm strips; leaves obovate, sometimes lanceolate to oblanceolate (base truncate to cuneate, lobes rounded), abaxially glaucous light green, adaxially lustrous dark green and glabrate; flowers not present; acorns light brown, 15 to 20 mm by 10 to 15 mm.
