Comment: Tree; height 30 ft; DBH 16 cm; bark dark gray to brown-black, longitudinally and transversely fissured; leaves obovate to elliptic (base cuneate to rounded, apex acute to acuminate); entire margins or remotely toothed; abaxial surface glabrous or puberulent, adaxial surface glabrous and lustrous dark green; 5 to 16 cm by 2 to 9 cm; flowers not present; drupe, blue-black, 8 to 12 mm. Significant black spot on leaves.
