Aspect:
Comment: Multi-stemmed shrub (height 6 ft, spread 6 ft); bark gray, smooth, thin; leaves opposite, elliptical, serrate, greenish yellow; fruit berry-like drupes, white to very pale purple (typically very bright purple).

This specimen appears to be the uncommon white-fruited form [=C. americana Lactea Group]. 300 seeds collected from one individual. Species frequent, with patchy distribution.
