Comment: Multi-stemmed shrub with sparse branching and open, rounded crown. Height 3 m, DBH 5 cm. Bark brown-black, scaly. Leaves 12 to 25 cm long, 4 to 7.5 cm wide, lanceolate to ovate, green above, tan-cream beneath, adaxial surface rugose, veins areolate. Fruit: drupes red, in cymes.
