Environment description: Steep north-facing slope above rock outcropping, above ruderal area. Soil rocky, with humus.

Aspect: ; Soil Texture:
Comment: Irregularly shaped multi-stemmed shrub hanging over ledge. Height 2 m, DBH 5 cm. Bark tan-orange, with large lenticels. Leaves opposite, dark green above, much paler green below, coarsely serrate, young leaves three-lobed. Fruit: capsule elliptical, four-locular, to 2.5 cm long and 1.2 cm wide.
