Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: The habitat is wet, peaty, sandy soil. These seem more common along roads built up that create a low-drainage ditch adjacent to them.
Number of plants sampled: 10
Associated species: The site is bordered by pine stands. Other species in the site include Lophiola aurea, Aletris lutea, Coeopsis nudata, and Eriocaulon decangulare.
Comment: Fruits did not seem to be very ripe. Nevertheless collected a few plants with immature fruit, hoping these might yield some seeds. Few enough good seeds to count, more green seed than good seed
