Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Generally grassy areas on either side of the road; first 10 ft were mowed. Gravelly in parts but reasonable loamy/sandy soil in parts (with some rocks). A sizable population of plants along the roadway. An area of about 400 square meters (100x4) had a minimum estimate of about 50 phlox plants. There was variation in flower color (shades of pink) and petal lobe width.
