Environment description: Prairie remnant.
Number of plants sampled: 100
Associated species: Asclepias incarnata, Liatris pycnostachya, Helianthus grosseseratus, Agrostis gigantea, Solidago gigantea, Pycnanthemum virginianum, Apocynum cannabinum, and Carex spp.
Comment: Plants were sampled from a large population with likely greater than 1000 genotypes throughout a 7-10 acre area. Species infrequent to somewhat common, but localized in slightly moist/wetter soils.

Narrative
The plants sampled had light pink flowers, on spikes 1-8" long. Several plants had flowers in full bloom and ripe seed in the same inflorescence. Plants were generally 1.5-2.5' in height.
