Locality: Lorance Creek Natural area. Large population not far off the trail. Take the paved trail from the parking lot almost to the wooden boardwalk that goes into the swamp. Before you get to the boardwalk, veer off to the left (east) and follow an old woods road a little ways. There is a hill to the east off this road and the swamp to the west. Go up the hill (a sandy ridge).
