Locality: LeFleur's Bluff State Park, Jackson, Hinds County, MS. Approximately 400 m north-northwest of the Pearl River and 150 m east of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. On bluff along trail near stairs and in ravine west of trail.

Environment description: Bluff and ravine above cypress swamp.
Number of plants sampled: 5
Associated species: Nandina domestica, Arundinaria gigantea, Calicarpa americana, Liquidambar styraciflua.
Comment: Small population (5-10 genotypes) with no seedlings observed. All sampled plants were within a 75 m stretch of trail along the bluff. Collections made from 5 distinct plants across an area spanning latitude 32.32533 deg. N to 32.325868 deg. N and longitude 90.155705 deg. W to 90.156097 deg. W. The GPS coordinates provided refer to NA 86168.01/acc. 220, the first plant sampled in the population. GPS coordinates of each individual sampled may be provided upon request (NA 86168.01 through 86168.05).
