Locality: Natural Bridge Park, Winston County. Approximately 11 miles north of Elridge and 33 miles east of Alabama/Mississippi state line. Growing around the Natural Bridge (100 m east of visitors center) on the rocks and cliffs. Also growing on banks of stream and along roadside into park.

Environment description: Exposed rocks and cliffs, streambank, roadside.
Number of plants sampled: 15
Comment: Large population, locally very abundant. Approximately 100 genotypes. Slopes ranged from 5 to 90, with plants growing across gradient of flat ground to cliff. Collections made from 15 distinct plants across an area spanning latitude 34.089986 deg. N to 34.093674 deg. N and longitude 87.610928 deg. W to 87.616175 deg. W (approximately 21 acres). The GPS coordinates provided refer to NA 86156.01/acc. 1223, the first plant sampled in the population. GPS coordinates for each sampled specimen are available upon request (NA 86156.01 through 86156.15).
