Narrative
'S14-9017GT' is a maturity group V high-yielding glyphosate tolerant soybean [Glycine max (L). It has a relative maturity of 5.3, determinate growth habit, plant height of 81 cm, resistance to lodging, dark green leaves, white flower color, light tawny pubescence, and tan pod wall. Seeds have yellow cotyledons with yellow seed coats with intermediate seed luster and black hila. The 100-seed weight is 14.9 g, and seeds averaged 378 g kg-1 in protein and 246 g kg-1 in oil. 'S14-9017GT' is resistant to stem canker (Diaporthe aspalathi), frogeye leaf spot (Cercopora sojina), cyst nematode-races 1, 2, 3, & 5 (Heterodera glycines), reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis Linford & Oliveira), peanut root-knot nematode [Meloidogyne arenaria (Neal) Chitwood], sudden death syndrome (Fusarium virguliforme) and has field tolerance to phytophthora root rot (Phytophthora sojae).
