Associated species: Fraxinus quadrangulata, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Carpinus caroliniana (very common), Cornus florida, Lindera benzoin, Vitis sp., Asimina triloba, Juglans nigra, Acer saccharum, Quercus muehlenbergii, Ulmus americana, Smilax sp., Platanus occidentalis, Quercus rubra, Ostrya virginiana, Prunus serotina, Euonymus atropurpureus and Corylus americana
