Environment description: Riverbank, among riprap rocks and muddy/sandy bank, bordered by lots of flotsam/driftwood.

Comment: Small, scattered population with many/most individuals senescing, with hardly any leaves. Mostly female, possibly males dead or tiny. Indehiscent fruit.

The source population was collected as "ABD" by Katherine E. Waselkov in 2009 and was uniformly sensitive to imazethapyr herbicide. Brent P Murphy developed it into this genetic material, "WUS-BM".

Pedigree
Description:
Pseudo-F2 progeny of a controlled plant cross between a single male and single female under pollen control. Derived from the ABD population, and selected for sensitivity to tembotrione. Progeny were increased in a controlled cross between 11 male and 13 female F1 plants. Female plants were harvested separately and combined equally by seed weight.
