Locality: Located 4.40 miles north, northeast of Fort Gibson just south of Fort Gibson Dam on both west (Wagoner County) and east (Cherokee County) sides of the Neosho River

Environment description: Moist valleys at base of slopes on both south and north facing slopes, typically 45 degrees or greater. Often associated with large boulders.
Number of plants sampled: 100
Associated species: Quercus muehlenbergii, Gymnocladus dioicus, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Cladrastis kentukea, Ptelea trifoliata (rare), Juglans nigra, Carya illinoinensis, Amelanchier arborea, Vitis sp., Ampelopsis arborea, Tradescantia sp., Smilax sp., Carya sp., Juglans nigra, Acer saccaharum, Cotinus obovatus and Ostrya virginiana.
Comment: Coordinates refer to general location of population. Material collected on both sides of river with the greatest distance between two plants sampled being approximately 2.5 miles. Species rather common throughout area. Balanced collection from three areas separated by approximately 0.75 miles sampling approximately 35 specimens at each area. Seeds were brown and hard at time of collection 17 July 2019 and assumed fully mature.
