This accession represents the northern most genetics of blue ash in the NPGS collection. In the state of Wisconsin, only Waukesha County reports the species as native and present. In the state of Wisconsin, Fraxinus quadrangulata is listed as threatened by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (8 May 2019).
