Narrative

Seedling from seed accession PI 660757. Open pollinated seed from cultivar Triumph received from Svetoslav Bobev in Bulgaria in February, 2008. J. Postman germinated a single seedling, which was observed after several years in the NCGR field collection to have large, attractive fruit. The name 'Bobev's Triumph' was used when several PNW nurseries became interested in propagating and evaluating this selection.
