Narrative
NZ 89535HC.2 x Loch Ness. Hybrid of trailing and semi-erect blackberries. Cross made by Harvey Hall (NZ HortResearch Inc.), seed shared with USDA-ARS in Oregon. Finn made selections. Grows like semi-erect blackberry. Very, very late ripening; later than 'Chester Thornless'. Excellent yield, vigor and health. Discarded from commercial consideration due to small size and lack of interest in genotypes later than 'Chester Thornless'.
