Narrative
Seed received from Kent Chapman at University of North Texas after it was used in genome sequencing project. Seed was originally collected from a female plant in a landscape planting (with several male plants) at the UofA Maricopa Agricultural Center. MAC staff believe the plants have been in place since the dedication of the main admin/research building in 1987.
